Thank you for supporting our E-Waste Collection Event on February 28 - March 1
The Education Foundation sponsored this fundraiser to help support our academic programs and enhance our technology in the classrooms. Thank you for supporting this event and for removing the eWaste from your homes and offices. We'd like to thank the Pioneer students who volunteered their time to help make this event a success! Thank you Jim Boudinot for coordinating this event...we're looking forward to hearing about our successful fundraising efforts!
Communications News:

We're trying to create some 'buzz' on 'facebook.' In our continuing efforts to build a philanthropic base of alumni and local community members, we've created a Facebook Group section. Make sure that you add us to your "friends" and tell other important Mustang movers and shakers to join. We need their support in building our Foundation! Can't find us? Email me!

Principal's Message:
Hello Mustangs!
This is Ms. Walker. Yesterday, we received confirmation that there has been a shift in the policy about how students can satisfy the two year PE requirement. The most important provision is that 10th grade student athletes can be exempted from regular PE classes. This means that student athletes who pass the fitness gram in grade 9 may earn their PE credits through sports rather than through PE.
All Freshmen who expect to play a sport next year may wish to drop their PE class during the day. If you pass the fitness gram in grade 9, you may take PE in grade 10, 11, or 12. If you do not pass, you must take PE course 2 in your tenth grade year.
You may make the change by logging on to the web scheduler and making the change yourself. You may do this from home or from the library computers. If you need a new copy of the course selection sheet, they are available in student services.
Remember, these changes only apply to student athletes and students who have passed the fitnessgram.
We apologize for this late change in policy, but are happy that it allows students a chance to take advantage of the many opportunities available at Pioneer.
Logon to the scheduler through Pioneerhigh.org.

The Web Scheduler will be available online until April 9.
If you have questions, please see Mrs. Richardson in Student Services.

I assume it was you who updated the conflict of interest policy for the upcoming board. It was on my plate to finish but you got to it before I did. Thank you. -frank
